Who doesn’t like puliyigre ? This dish suits fior all any time any accasion and favarite of young and old ,we can make paste from this but can’ t keep it for long , as we all are short of space in refrigerator , Dry powder like this wil be very use ful for travelling if we take electric rice cooker we can go around the world , within ten minits can pre pare delicious rice from this , and yes can pre pare this powder also in ten minits,. Lets se how todo this

• Black gram dal one tbsp.
• Red gram dal one tsp
• Red chilli ten to fifteen( both byadgi and guntoor half and half )
• Coriander seeds two tbsp
• Cumin one tbsp
• Mustard.seeds half tbsp
• Pepper seeds half tbsp
• Fenugreek seeds half tbsp
• Sesame seeds three tbsp (black variety two tbsp white variety one tbsp )
• Jaggery one tbsp
• tamarind small.lime size
• Salt to taste 
• Turmerric half tbsp
• Dry coconut gratings four tbsp
• Adfoetida one ground nut sized
• Curry leaves two strings
• oil.half cup
For tempering mustard black gram dal red gram dal asafoetida curry leaves and red chillis


1. Fry ground nut and curry leaves with little oil.and keep.aside

2. Same pan prepare seasining and keep

3. With little oil fry all the remaing ingredients one by one , and grind it to corase powder

4. If you are using immwdiately or wirhin few days

5. Once in.air tight jar

6. If you are keeping it long then give tempering when you are pre paring rice from this

*** let the cooked rice be cool.use til oil for better taste
