1 cup cooked chana dal

1 1/4 cup Jaggery and sugar (1 cup jaggery and 1/4 cup Sugar) 

1/2 sp nutmeg powder

1/2 tsp cardamom powder

2 1/2 cup wheat flour

1/2 cup maida 

1/2 tsp turmeric 



Add all ingredients of dough and make soft dough and keep aside for 30 min. In a bowl add coocked Chana Dal, jaggery and sugar and boil it for 5 min. Jaggery and sugar melts. Stir continuously until it becomes thick. Turn off gas when it thickens and add Cardomom powder and nutmeg powder. Blend it in blender. Puran is ready. Make small balls from it. Take small balls of dough and place Puran in the middle and cover it from all sides. dust the ball with wheat flour and flatten with hand and roll it like chapati. now put the rolled puran poli over hot tawa. allow roasting on medium flame until it puffs up. grease oil and flip over and cook both sides pressing slightly. finally, serve puran poli with ghee
